Sergio Busquets is very proud to be the son of Carles Busquets (goalkeeper for Barca- 1988-98). As a kid, he went to see his dad at the Camp Nou. He believes that he has gained his own identity and not been known because of his dad.

This young player is flabbergasted right now. It’s like a dream for him. Guardiola was important and he worked hard for him. He tells him that the faster we move the ball, the faster the rival gets tired.

He grew up in a determined environment. He is aware of the fact that he should work hard and not lose head or be overconfident. The advise he gets from his dad is not to lose yourself, to stay in the moment and the most important to think about the day-to-day, because you do not know the tomorrow. He always likes to play touching the ball, quickly, from the start. He is the player in his team that makes most of the fouls. He probably thinks so because of his long legs. He aspires nothing right now as he is living his dream. He just believes to work for the team.
